Stu Caroline Jo and Lydia stomp around St Ninian’s Isle while I catch up with producer admin/blog, then walk up to meet them at Hymhus for lunch with the Bigton Collective volunteers. A lovely opportunity to chat some more with folk.

For supper we gather at our host Audrey’s house with her family and our other host Laura. The children start showing us card tricks and hilarity ensues as Stu calls out the sleight of hand. Have to say Ruben has skills though! We also help out with Elska’s GarageBand composition, she samples us playing spoons. She records random spoken words. It ends up rather good, if sounding a bit like the theme tune for Are You Being Served?

We’ve had a wonderful time with the Bigton Massive… Sad to say farewell, but we’re off to Fair Isle tomorrow!

Thank yous today to our hosts Audrey and Laura, and to everyone who cooked the volunteers lunch.
