ODYSSEUS HEADS NORTH

After the Norweigan pupils producing amazing work in their second language, and TEAM Basingstoke’s dramatic re-workings of the material, we rolled out four more variations on the Odysseus Unwound theme as we headed North.

Director of Odysseus Unwound, Bill Bankes-Jones, and mezzo Phyllis Cannan joined the education team for these tertiary education sessions. There were more advanced elements of music composition and improvisation, a focus on storytelling in performance and other performance techniques, but we didn’t let them off the hook with the textiles content - there were also giant knitting exercises in each place!
