Over the last two terms CHROMA, as resident ensemble for education at RHUL, has been working with undergraduate and postgraduate composers writing for different lineups:
baritone/flute/cello; clarinet/viola/piano; mezzo-soprano/clarinet/violin; solo flute; solo bass; solo accordion; solo piano; solo guitar; trumpet/accordion and cor anglais/bass.
This concert is the culmination of a series of workshops on ensemble writing, taking Na’ama Zisser’s Drowned in C as stimulus - with students writing for alto flute, oboe, bass clarinet, horn, trombone, violin and cello.
