The Howard Assembly Room’s Christmas concert delivers a feast of Russian and Ukrainian festive music.
With pieces composed by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky Korsakov and Rachmaninov, the concert tells the story of Gogol’s classic tale The Night Before Christmas. Featuring a mischievous devil, Cossacks and even Catherine the Great, the story is brought to life with magnificent music and staging.
