CHROMA’s magical retelling of Nikolai Gogol’s famous story The Night Before Christmas is interwoven with a ravishing selection of Russian & Ukranian music & song.
Mulit-talented bass baritone, cellist & narrator Matthew Sharp joins CHROMA musicians David Le Page (violin), Stuart King (clarinet), Clare O’Connell (cello) & Milos Milivojevic (accordion) to perform music by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov, Glazunov & Borodin as well as a selection of Ukranian folk music collected by Mykola Lysenko.
