Having begun the cornet aged eight, it took only three years for Heidi to decide that music was the career for her. After moving to London to study with James Watson, John Wallace and Paul Archibald at the Royal Academy of Music this dream became a reality.
Heidi loves working with exciting, dynamic and like-minded musicians and is proud to be a member of CHROMA. Heidi also enjoys working regularly with the Britten Sinfonia, Rambert Dance Company and many of the London orchestras. In 2011 she performed with the London Chamber Orchestra at the wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton.
Heidi is passionate about teaching young people and holds teaching posts at both Beechwood Park and Channing school as well as regularly tutoring on The Brass Academy courses.
